Ankit Sobti is the co-founder and field CTO at Postman, the world’s leading API platform, used by over 40 million developers and more than 500,000 organizations globally. With a background in engineering and a passion for developer experience, Ankit has helped guide Postman’s evolution from a simple Chrome extension into a comprehensive platform that supports the entire API lifecycle—serving both individual developers and the world’s largest enterprises.
Ankit’s journey with Postman began in 2014, when he teamed up with Abhinav Asthana and Abhijit Kane to tackle the growing complexity of API development and collaboration. Their combined efforts led to a tool that simplified workflows for developers while also scaling to meet the governance, security, and collaboration needs of modern enterprises.
